Our Commitment

Mary Ward International is a full member of the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID), the peak body for Australian not-for-profit aid and development organisations.

As a signatory to the ACFID Code of Conduct, we are committed to high standards of governance, financial management, safeguarding, transparency, and ethical practice.

Mary Ward International Australia Ltd is also an approved organisation under the Overseas Aid Gift Deduction Scheme (OAGDS). The Australian Taxation Office endorses Mary Ward International as a Deductible Gift Recipient.

Mary Ward International is committed to fostering a culture where people can raise concerns safely.

Mary Ward International follows the Loreto Province of Australia and South East Asia Whistleblower Policy.

Mary Ward International has also engaged STOPline, an impartial, independent, and confidential service provider, to receive and investigate whistleblower disclosures. This service is available to members of the Loreto network, including members of the Congregation of Jesus, employees, contractors, project partners, and volunteers.
